Our Story
Jennifer Knowles, aka “Lemonade Stand Mama” and mom of three boys, wanted to teach her boys valuable lessons of entrepreneurship and charity. When her kids lemonade stand was shut down by police due to a complaint and lack of permits, she and her family took action. Less then a year later, she and her boys worked with legislators and community members to get the laws changed both for her city and for the state of Colorado. Kids can make a huge difference and help others!

About the Author
Jennifer Knowles, Ph.D is an author, speaker, professor and consultant. Named one of Denver’s 2019 “Disrupters” changing the face of Denver, she is a change management expert who more recently has become a kids entrepreneurship advocate. She enjoys playing outside and of course, drinking lemonade.
